What bothers me is the recut and extended footage on Disc 3... is this not added into the Director's Cut?

LOL - I expect at some point the studios are going to be releasing disk like that without the movie, just for the true junkies.
If you want the movie - then buy this one, you want the extras, here you go - oh! You wanted to SuperSize the extras! no problem - here!

Butterfly Effect came in 2 versions...reg and Dir cut. I watched the D-cut and was shocked to find it was completely diffrent from the theater version...with a completely different ending.
Really like watching two completely different movies.
Yeah - that one was!
We watched the Dir Cut all the way through, and then went back to see the theatrical ending.
was anything else through the movie different, or only the ending?
